Earlier in this month I committed to writing about love for 31 days. One of these days, I focused on the LOVE sculpture by Robert Indiana. Now there are LOVE sculptures all over the Earth, in different languages and still love. The original LOVE sculpture was installed at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in 1970.
On our 30th day of love, I visited the IMoA to see, and to celebrate, the original LOVE sculpture. It is BIG, metal and showing a lovely patina as it ages. in
Just for fun, I caught the sculpture and I in a bit of a selfie. Life is meant to be fun and love itself can be fun. The things we love can be fun.
For a bit of a different spin, I would like to add a little more about the LOVE sculpture. As I said above, the sculpture is installed around the world in different locations . . . gardens, in fountains, in different colors, on the U.S. postage stamp. If you would like to read more, check out Robert Indiana on this blog site, it is informational and fun!
