“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
This seems to work for people, yes, and for things too, like the Earth, a specific place, your pet . . .
Sometimes loving deeply gives us the courage to take a stand, to say something that we really want or need to say and are afraid to do so or the courage to be who be who we really are in the face of long-time expectations. We don’t necessarily think about courage when we think of love. Sometimes love is easy, it fits with everything others expect of us. Other times love demands courage and the wisdom to go where we need to go.
Simple thoughts, and have a great day!
